Considerations when using Satispay for Shopify Payments
Before you activate Satispay for Shopify Payments, review the following considerations:
- Your customers must be located in Italy and select EUR currency to pay for their order. If your customer is in a different location, or if they don't select an eligible currency, then the option to check out using Satispay isn't available.
- The amount paid with Satispay must be from €0.50 EUR to €999,999.99 EUR. When the customer applies a gift card or store credit to the order, this limit applies to the remaining amount that they pay with Satispay, not to the order total.
- When your customers pay for their orders using Satispay, the funds are captured immediately and added to your next available payout.
- Customers can't pay for subscription products using Satispay.

Customer experience
Customers can pay with Satispay only when they're located in Italy and pay in EUR. When paying at checkout using Satispay, the customer's experience depends on the type of device they're using:
- Mobile: Customers who select Satispay and tap Pay now at checkout on their mobile device are sent directly to their Satispay app, where they can authorize the payment.
- Desktop: Customers who select Satispay and click Pay now at checkout on their desktop device are sent to Satispay, which displays a QR code. The customer scans the QR code using their Satispay app, authorizes the payment, and then returns to checkout.
- POS: Customers who select Satispay at a Shopify POS terminal are presented with a QR code. The customer scans the QR code using their device's camera, not the Satispay app, to complete the payment.
