Connect the Star Micronics TSP143IV-UEWB Receipt Printer to your Wi-Fi network

You can connect your printer to your local Wi-Fi network using either a QR code or manual Wi-Fi setup.

Steps:

This automatically connects the printer to your mobile device without requiring you to enter a Security Key. In some cases, the device may require you to manually enter the Security Key of the printer - which can be located on the Network Configuration sheet.
    • Manual Wi-Fi method: If you can't scan the QR code or are experiencing difficulties setting the printer up over the QR code option, then open the Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device, and then select the printer when it appears in the list of networks (for example, TSP100IV-XXXX). When prompted, enter the Security Key (Wi-Fi password) found on the Network Configuration sheet.
  2. After connecting using either method, the TSP100IV Web Configuration page will open automatically on the mobile device.

  3. Log in using the preloaded credentials displayed on the page.

  4. When prompted, update the password. You can set it to the same password (for example, public).

  5. On the Wi-Fi settings screen, configure the following:

    • Mode: Select Infrastructure Mode.
    • SSID: Enter the name of your Wi-Fi network. If your network offers multiple bandwidths, connect to the 2.4 GHz network. The SSID is case-sensitive and shouldn't contain special characters.
    • Security Type: Select the security type used by your network.
    • Security Key: Enter your Wi-Fi network password. This is case-sensitive and shouldn't contain special characters.
  6. Tap Save to apply the settings.
