Requirements for using the Star Micronics mC-Print3 receipt printer

Before you set up the Star Micronics mC-Print3 receipt printer with Shopify POS, make sure that your store and devices meet the following hardware and software requirements:

  • You use Shopify POS.

  • You have a compatible iPad running iOS 15 or higher, an iPhone running iOS 15 or higher, or a compatible Android device running version 10 or higher.

  • You need a compatible iPad, iPhone, or Android device. Android devices need to be running version 10 or higher.

  • For USB connection, you need an iPad with the Shopify POS Hub or a compatible Android device.
