Inline form settings

The following settings let you determine the appearance and placement of your inline form. You can configure these settings when you create a form, along with the settings that apply to both popup and inline forms.

Styling settings

In the Typography section of the Styling settings for your inline form, you can use the drop-down menus to choose the font that you want to use for your headings and body text.

To change the colors or layout of an inline form, use the theme editor. For example, to edit the colors for your inline forms, in the theme editor, go to Theme settings > Colors > Form fields to edit the colors of your form text, borders, and background.

Placement

When you create a form, the Placement setting determines where in your store the form is displayed. You can choose between the following placements for a form:

Adding a form to a new landing page

Adding a form to a new landing page in your theme can be a useful option when you want to dedicate a separate URL to the page containing your inline form.

For example, this option is ideal for creating a dedicated signup page for wholesalers or B2B.

Having a separate URL for your form also means that you can easily share this page URL in social media messages or emails.

Adding a form to an existing page template

When you add a form to an existing page template, it's added as a block to the template, and the form displays on all pages that use that template. Adding a form to an existing theme template requires less custom page management, because no new page URL or template is created.

For example, if you've already created a custom page template that you use on multiple pages that cover the policies, requirements, and example product catalogs of your wholesale retailer program, then you can add an inline signup form to the bottom of that custom page template to quickly apply the signup form to all the relevant pages that already use that template.
