Roles
A role represents a staff member's job, and contains all the granular permissions that a user requires to do that job.
You can create roles and assign roles to users to grant them permissions to different areas of your business from the Organization settings. You can assign multiple roles to a user, granting the user the accumulative permissions from all their assigned roles.
Each role has a category that is managed either by Shopify or by an eligible user, and a set of related permissions.
This section covers managing roles for your Partner organization, but merchants can also manage roles in their Shopify admin. Learn more about managing roles from a merchant perspective.
