Requirements for using an Epson T20 or T88 series receipt printer

Before you set up the Epson T20 or T88 series receipt printer with Shopify POS, make sure that your store and devices meet the following hardware and software requirements:

  • You use Shopify POS.

  • You have a compatible iPad running iPadOS 15.1 or higher, an iPhone running iOS 15.1 or higher, or a compatible Android device running Android 10.0 or higher.

  • For USB connection, you need to use the POS Hub.

  • For an Ethernet connection, you need an Ethernet cable.
