Point of Sale overview

The Point of Sale Overview displays a high-level view of how your retail business is performing. You can find the overview in the Shopify admin under the Point of Sale sales channel. The overview displays key metrics about your retail business:

Total sales
Gross sales
Total discounts
Total refunds
Gross profits
Gross margin
Total orders
Average order value
Sales credited to staff

To go to the full analytics report, click View report.

You can view these metrics for all of your locations or for a single location. You can also filter the information by date.

To review high-risk register actions taken on Shopify POS, such as voids, refunds, and manual discounts, you can view the activity log for Shopify POS in your Shopify admin.
