Considerations for selling on StockX with Shopify
Review the following considerations for selling on StockX with Shopify:
- Products that you list for sale on StockX have the default price that you set in Shopify, unless you set a price markup or a price markdown.
- StockX operates with Sell Now and Ask prices from sellers and Buy Now and Bid options for customers. For Shopify merchants, the product price is always an Ask value. If your price is the lowest Ask value for a product on StockX, and that price is met by a customer bid, then you make a sale. If your price is lower than the lowest customer bid for a product, then a Sell Now sale automatically happens for the value of the lowest customer bid.
- If you don't have a Shopify online store, then you don't need to take photos for the product listings that you sync from Shopify to StockX, because your products are matched to existing StockX listings that already include product photos. If you have a Shopify online store with your own product photos, then these aren't used on StockX.
- Products that you sell on StockX must be sent to the StockX verification center within two business days. Products are inspected to confirm that they're new and that they meet the StockX quality standards.
- StockX deals with all customer communications and notifications, as well as shipping and returns. Find out more about shipping your StockX orders.
- You don't get paid for your StockX sales through Shopify. Learn about how and when you get paid as a seller on StockX, and about the seller fees and shipping costs that you pay.
