Choosing and editing your carbon-neutral shipping subscription plan

You can use Planet to choose and edit your carbon-neutral shipping plan, helping you to reduce the environmental impact of your shipping and contribute to a more sustainable future. Learn more about the carbon-neutral shipping options and subscription plans offered through Planet.

If you're a new Planet user, then you can choose your carbon-neutral shipping option and subscription plan after you install the Planet app.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Planet page on the Shopify App Store.
  2. Click Add app to install and connect Planet to your store.
  3. Review the app permissions, and then click Install app.
  4. Select your subscription plan:
    • If you select All shipments carbon neutral, then select a carbon removal type and set your monthly budget. You can also choose to accept customer contributions, creating a Combined option plan.
    • If you select Customers choose, then set your monthly budget and customer contribution amount.
  5. Click Confirm to save your subscription settings and activate your subscription.

Edit your subscription

If you're an existing Planet user, then you can change your subscription plan and settings at any time. If you installed Planet before Jan 31, 2024, and haven’t changed your subscription settings, then you’re on the All shipments carbon neutral plan by default.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Planet.

  2. Click Settings and Tools, and then click Edit plan.

  3. Make any adjustments to your subscription.

  4. Click Confirm to save your subscription settings and activate your subscription.
