Submitting shipping claims for DHL eCommerce Poland shipments

You can submit claims for lost, damaged, or late DHL eCommerce Poland shipments. Submit a claim as soon as you identify the issue because carrier filing windows can be short.

To initiate an eligible claim, submit a shipping claim in your Shopify admin. The claim is filed with DHL on your behalf. You can't file a claim directly with DHL by using a merchant account.

Submitting a claim for a lost or damaged shipment

Include the following information in a lost or damaged shipment claim:

  • A letter of complaint.
  • A customer invoice that displays the value of the goods.
  • Proof of the value of the goods.
  • Photos of the products, the outer packaging, and the inner packaging. These photos are required for both lost and damaged claims.

Submitting a claim for a late shipment

A late claim reimburses the cost of the shipping service only, not the value of the goods. Include a letter of complaint in your claim.
