Shipping with Australia Post
If you're shipping from a fulfillment location in Australia, then you can buy shipping labels from Australia Post.
The shipping rates that you're charged are based on your account with Australia Post.

Considerations for shipping packages with Australia Post
Review the following considerations when shipping with Australia Post:
- An Australia Post MyPost Business account is required to ship with Australia Post. Australia Post eParcel accounts aren't currently supported.
- You can connect your Australia Post account to your Shopify admin to display shipping rates and purchase shipping labels from Australia post on any plan. Carrier-calculated shipping isn't required to activate this feature.
- If you need to void a shipping label that you've purchased through Shopify, then the label must be voided in your Australia Post account.
Connect your Australia Post account with Shopify
Step 1: Generate a merchant token in your Australia Post MyPost Business account
- Log in to your Australia Post MyPost Business account.
- Confirm that you've added a payment method to your account.
- Click eCommerce Partners, locate Shopify, and then click Connect. This generates a merchant token.
- Copy the merchant token to use when connecting your Australia Post account in your Shopify admin.
Step 2: Connect your Australia Post MyPost Business account
From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Shipping and delivery.
In the Carrier accounts section, click Connect account, and then click Australia Post.
Ensure that you've generated and copied a merchant token.
Enter your merchant token, select a payment method, and then click Connect.
Shipping with Australia Post
Australia Post offers domestic and international shipping services except United States when you connect your account with Shopify.

Package requirements for Australia Post shipments
The following are the maximum values that Australia Post allows for packages:
- No side can be longer than 105 cm (41.33 in)
- Maximum weight of 22 kg (48.5 lb)
- Maximum volume is 0.25 cubic meters (250 L)

Voiding Australia Post shipping labels
If you need to void a shipping label that you've purchased through Shopify, then the label must be voided in your Australia Post account. You can't void an Australia Post shipping label in your Shopify admin.
If you have a stored payment method, then you can log in to your Australia Post MyPost Business account to void the label.
Steps:
- Log in to your Australia Post MyPost Business account.
- Click Transactions, and then select the order that contains the consignment.
- Select Refund.

If you use Australia Post through Shopify, then who you should contact for support depends on the assistance that you need:
- For help connecting your Australia Post account and questions about labels purchased in the Shopify admin, contact Shopify Support.
- For help with a shipment or for submitting a claim, contact Australia Post help and support.
Disconnect your Australia Post account from Shopify
If you no longer want to use rates from Australia Post, then you can disconnect MyPost account from your Shopify admin.
Steps:
From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Shipping and delivery.
In the Carrier accounts section, click Manage carriers.
Next to Australia Post, click Disconnect account.
In the dialog, click Disconnect account to confirm the deactivation.
