Filing fees for unsubmitted returns
Fees charged for your returns are based on generated returns, not filing. If a return is generated for your applicable filing period, but it's not submitted due to unresolved errors or issues before the end of the filing period, then you're still charged for the generated filing.
Charges for returns generated by automated tax filing that can't be filed due to errors or issues aren't refundable. To prevent charges for unsubmitted returns, skip the return before the 9th of the month.
