The Unpublish product variant action makes the product variant that triggers the workflow unavailable on the selected sales channels.

Fields
The Unpublish product variant action contains the following fields.

| Publication | The publication(s), such as sales channels, from which the product variant will be unpublished. |
Triggers
The Unpublish product variant action has a hidden field added to it by the trigger. This field, Product variant ID, identifies the product variant to unpublish. By default, the Product variant ID is set to the product variant from the trigger, but you can change it.
The Unpublish product variant action can be used in workflows that start with the following triggers:
This action is most commonly paired with Variant out of stock or Inventory quantity changed. The Variant back in stock trigger is usually paired with Publish product variant instead.
