Managing draft orders on Shopify POS

If a customer needs to leave before completing their purchase, then you can save their cart as a draft order on Shopify POS to complete the sale later. You can retrieve draft orders created at your current location, at other locations, or in your Shopify admin. For example, if you created a draft order for a customer online and they later come into your store, then you can retrieve that draft order and complete the purchase on Shopify POS.

After you retrieve a draft order, you can complete the checkout, update or delete the draft order, or email the cart to the customer.

To quickly create, load, or update draft orders, you can add the Create draft order, Load draft order, or Update draft order tile to your Shopify POS smart grid.
