Pricing and billing for WhatsApp marketing campaigns
When you send WhatsApp marketing campaigns using Shopify Messaging, you're charged per message and you're billed monthly. You can send up to 25 test messages per week for free. There's a 1,024-character limit per WhatsApp message.
You're also charged per message for the following types of automated messages:
- Confirmation messages sent to new subscribers
- Replies to keywords from customers sending requests, such as "INFO" or "HELP"
If a customer replies to one of your messages, then a 24-hour customer service window opens. During this time, utility messages, such as order confirmation or customer service inquiries, are free. Each subsequent customer reply resets the 24-hour customer service window timer. Marketing and authentication messages are still billed at the standard rate for your region during this time.

Viewing Shopify Messaging WhatsApp charges
Any WhatsApp marketing costs are added to your Shopify bill as WhatsApp. To view details about the cost of each WhatsApp campaign, click View details for your bill in the Billing section of your Shopify admin.
