Collabs Community Guidelines for creators

To use Collabs as a creator, you must review and follow the Collabs Community Guidelines:

1. You're an authentic creator producing and posting original content to promote Collabs products.
2. You drive traffic by engaging with the audiences that you've developed on your chosen platforms.
3. You're prohibited from using the Collabs app or the Services, or submitting, transmitting, publishing, uploading, displaying, providing, or posting any content or comments through or in connection with the App or the Services: (a) to infringe upon, violate, or misappropriate any of our rights or the rights of any third party, including, without limitation, any intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; (b) to submit false, misleading, or deceptive information; (c) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious or destructive code; (d) to collect or track the personal information of others; (e) to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape; (f) for any hateful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, or immoral purpose; (g) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Services or any related website or application, other website or application, or the Internet; (h) in any activities that are, in Shopify's sole discretion, likely to generate liability for Shopify or negatively affect Shopify's reputation; or (i) to solicit or encourage any other person to perform or participate in any of the foregoing.

These guidelines are designed to help you foster trust with the brands that you promote, leading to stronger relationships. Review this page to understand the consequences of violating the Collabs Community Guidelines.

Consequences of violating the Collabs Community Guidelines

If you violate the Collabs Community Guidelines, then the following actions are taken:

• Your commission offer reduces to 0% for all brands on Collabs.
• All pending payouts are canceled.
• Brands might choose to pause their connection with you, invalidating your affiliate links and discount codes.

Partnership consequences

If you're in an approved partnership with a brand, and you violate the Collabs Community Guidelines, then the following consequences apply:

• A dispute is automatically opened, and any commission that you were earning is put on hold until you resolve the dispute directly with the brand.
• The brand might choose to pause their connection with you, which pauses all pending payouts, and invalidates your affiliate links and discount codes.

You receive an email from Shopify if your commission is reduced, or disputed, and if a brand pauses your connection.

Creators blocked from using Collabs

If you're blocked by Shopify as a result of violating the Collabs Community Guidelines, then you can no longer use Collabs, and your pending payments from brands are canceled. This decision is final and can't be changed.
