Shopify Payments for Mexico
You can use Shopify Payments in Mexico to accept a variety of payment methods at checkout on your Shopify store. You can activate Shopify Payments when you set up your Shopify account. With Shopify Payments, your payment processing and order management systems are managed directly from your Shopify admin. Shopify Payments protects your customers' data through fraud detection and encryption methods such as 3D Secure. The payment processing rates that you're charged for customer card purchases with Shopify Payments depend on the subscription plan that you have for your Shopify account.
Shopify Payments for Mexico lets you accept credit and debit card payments and accelerated checkout payments.
You can also accept local payment methods that provide your customers with even more flexibility when paying for orders.
Shopify Payments is only available for online selling in Mexico. You can't use Shopify Payments for in-person (POS) payment processing. However, you can use manual card entry (mail order or telephone order, or MOTO) at checkout in Shopify POS. MOTO transactions are processed as card-not-present payments using your online payment stack, so Shopify Payments applies.
