Uninstalling the Shopify Collective sales channel

If you no longer want to sell your products through retailers on Shopify Collective, then you can uninstall the sales channel. To only stop selling temporarily, you can deactivate your price lists. To stop your products from being found by retailers, you can deactivate your retailer discoverability.

If you're having a technical issue with the Shopify Collective sales channel, then contact Shopify Support.

When you uninstall Shopify Collective, the following effects take place:

  • All your retailer connections break immediately.
  • You stop receiving new Collective orders.
  • Unfulfilled orders are canceled, and your retailers are refunded.
  • Any outstanding returns that are requested by customers must be managed manually by the retailer.

The Shopify Collective sales channel is automatically uninstalled when you turn off Shopify Network Intelligence.

If a retailer that you work with uninstalls their Shopify Collective app, then you're notified by email.

Uninstall the Shopify Collective sales channel

You can uninstall the Shopify Collective sales channel from your Shopify admin at any time.

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Sales channels > Collective: Supplier.

  2. Click Horizontal menu > Uninstall.

  3. Select any options from the Reason for uninstalling drop-down menu

  4. Optional: To share feedback about uninstalling the sales channel, enter any text in the Share feedback box.

  5. Click Uninstall.
