Choosing the right plan
The best plan for your business depends on your experience with ecommerce and your expected sales volume. Review the following plans:
- Basic plan: Best for new businesses that are ready to launch an online store and start making sales.
- Grow plan: Best for growing businesses with consistent sales that need more features, such as advanced reporting or additional staff accounts.
- Advanced plan: Best for high-volume businesses that need the lowest transaction fees, or businesses migrating from another platform. The Advanced plan also includes enhanced features for retail stores.

When to consider upgrading your plan
On higher-tier plans, credit card fees are lower. After your sales are high enough, these savings might cover the higher monthly plan cost. The exact point where upgrading saves you money depends on your location and whether you use Shopify Payments. Review the current rates on the Shopify pricing page.
These estimates are based on the difference in credit card processing rates between plans. Your actual break-even point may vary.
