Eligibility for Shop Promise

To display Shop Promise on your store, your store must adhere to the following requirements. In some cases, the Shop Promise badge is removed from an order because not all items in your customer's cart are eligible for Shop Promise.

Requirements for using Shop Promise

To apply for Shop Promise, your store must first meet all requirements:

Evaluating eligibility

Because Shop Promise highlights the top 1% of shippers on Shopify, Shopify routinely assesses eligibility to identify merchants who would most benefit from displaying the badge and guarantee. If you’re eligible, then you’ll get notified in your admin and offered the chance to activate Shop Promise.

After Shop Promise is active on your store, we’ll continue to evaluate your eligibility based on your shipping and delivery performance.

Displaying delivery dates without Shop Promise

If you’re no longer eligible, then the Shop Promise badge and guarantee will stop appearing on your store. You’ll still be able to display estimated delivery dates on your product pages and during checkout for orders delivered within 5 days, but they won't include the badge.

To restore your eligibility for Shop Promise, focus on increasing your shipping and delivery performance.
