Change the Shopify POS product language
To change the language of the products on Shopify POS, assign a language to a POS location in your Shopify admin. The language you assign to your POS location also affects email, SMS, and printed receipts. Only one language can be assigned to a location at a time.
By default, all locations are assigned to the market default language. The default language can't be assigned to locations from the Point of Sale sales channel settings. If you want to change a location back to the default language, then you can uncheck the location from its assigned language.
Before you can set product languages on Shopify POS, configure languages in your Shopify admin language settings.
Steps:
From your Shopify admin, go to Point of Sale > Settings.
Click Language.
In the POS language section, click the language that you want to edit.
In the Language section, click Edit.
In the Edit locations window, do any of the following to change the language:
- check any locations that you want to assign the language to
- uncheck any assigned locations to revert back to the market default language
Click Done.
Confirm that the locations that you want the language assigned to are displayed in the Locations section.
Click Save.
