Requirements for using Shopify Messaging

To send email and SMS marketing campaigns to your subscribers using Shopify Messaging, your store must meet the following requirements:

• Your store must be on an active, paid Shopify subscription plan.
• Your store must have the Online Store sales channel installed.
• Your store must have a payment provider set up.
• Your store needs to comply with Shopify's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. Your store also needs to meet Shopify's requirements for trust, safety, and fraud.
• If you plan to send SMS marketing campaigns using Shopify Messaging, then your store must also meet the Requirements for sending SMS marketing campaigns.
• If you plan to send WhatsApp marketing campaigns using Shopify Messaging, then your store must also meet the Requirements and guidelines for sending WhatsApp marketing campaigns.
