Shopify Balance payouts
Shopify Balance payouts let you receive Shopify Payments earnings in your main Shopify Balance account. Your main Balance account is set as your payout account after you sign up, which can help you receive payouts faster than with an external bank account.
You can use Shopify Balance payout settings to view Shopify Payments payouts, review payout timelines, change where future earnings are deposited, and transfer PayPal payouts to Shopify Balance. Switching your Shopify Payments payout destination to Shopify Balance doesn't trigger the payout pause that can apply when changing to an external bank account. If you change from Shopify Balance to a third-party bank account, then payout delivery times and security pauses can apply.
